For devices sold in the U.S., FCC certification is required for both intentional and unintentional radiators. That means your device needs testing for:

• EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) — to ensure it doesn’t interfere with other devices.

• RF (Radio Frequency) emissions — for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and any other wireless tech.

• SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) — if the device is designed to be used close to the body.
