If you’re an electronic device manufacturer and wish to market your device in the United States, you will need to complete lab testing and receive FCC certification.
FCC certification confirms that your device complies with the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 47, Part 15, or FCC Part 15. This regulation sets electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards for electronic devices to protect the radio frequency (RF) spectrum.
We Can Help You Get FCC Certification in Thailand
We are an ANSI-accredited electronics testing lab and FCC-recognized Telecommunications Certification Body (TCB), allowing us to test your device for compliance with FCC Part 15 and grant equipment authorization via FCC certification.
Our team can assist you throughout the entire testing and FCC certification process. We also specialize in testing and certification for other compliance marks, including CE (Europe), ISED (Canada) and others, which can be viewed on our laboratory scope page.

FCC Certification is Mandatory to Sell Your Device in the USA
In the United States, the Federal Communications Commission, or FCC, is responsible for the management of the radio frequency spectrum. All devices capable of emitting radio frequency energy are required to comply with FCC Part 15 in order to gain legal market access.
The FCC carries out regular market surveillance and may apply fines and other legal penalties to manufacturers and distributors of non-compliant, non-certified devices.
Devices are required, by law, to demonstrate compliance via lab testing. If your device is fully compliant with the requirements set under FCC Part 15, it can receive equipment authorization and enter the market with FCC certification, or via a Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity.
Completing FCC testing and certification is a straightforward process. Our team can test your device in our lab and, if compliant, prepare documentation and complete the FCC certification process on your behalf.
Testing for FCC Part 15 compliance involves measuring your device’s radiated emissions and conducted emissions, and verifying that it meets standards for electromagnetic immunity.
The testing and equipment authorization process may differ based on your device’s class and type. Devices are classified as:
- Intentional radiators (devices that deliberately emit radio frequency waves, such as cell phones, Wi-Fi equipment and Bluetooth devices).
- Unintentional radiators (devices that do not deliberately emit RF energy, but may have emissions as a byproduct of their design and/or components).
Our engineering and compliance team can answer your questions and provide information about the entire process for your product, including your device’s type and the appropriate testing and compliance procedures.
