Intentional vs. Unintentional Radiators
The FCC classifies devices based on how they emit RF energy.

Unintentional radiators emit RF energy as a secondary effect of operation. Examples include power supplies, LED screens, and computer hardware. These may only require a Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) or verification testing.
